From The Mythos Wiki

There are four player races in Mythos: Humans, Satyrs, Gremlins and Cyclops. Elves were removed after the alpha test, since the designers felt they were unoriginal and rather dour.

As of the beta test, the races are largely identical. More differences are expected to be added as the game undergoes further development.
