Gadgeteer

The Gadgeteer is a new class added in the Mythos beta. Gadgeteers allow a variety of play styles, and are able to create simple machines to aid them in their struggle against the forces of evil. No official game fiction or concept art has yet been released for the class.

The Gadgeteer uses weapons normally associated with munitions such as bullets and grenades, all of which are currently unlimited and do not require purchasing or manufacturing by players. It has been suggested to the developers during earlier stages of development that some form of ammunition be added to the game for the assorted firearms, bows and crossbows. Player sentiment has so far been against this idea and the developers have also previously expressed a reluctance to add any such system to the game at this stage. As Mythos is still in development, it is possible that the developers will change their stance on this issue.
